Driving Lessons with ZS

With over 25 years of experience as a driving instructor of both Manual and Automatic transmission vehicles, I am deeply passionate about guiding individuals on their journey to becoming safe, confident, and skilled drivers. Teaching people to drive is not just a job for me—it’s a calling that I genuinely enjoy, as it allows me to make a positive impact on my students’ lives. Over the years, I have worked with a diverse range of learners, from complete beginners to those looking to refine their skills, and I take particular pride in helping nervous or anxious students build their confidence behind the wheel. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each individual’s needs, creating a supportive environment where students can overcome their fears and learn at their own pace. Seeing my pupils gain the skills and assurance to drive independently is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work as a fully qualified DVSA-approved driving instructor.

Whether you are a provisional learner driver seeking regular weekly lessons or intensive/semi-intensive courses, or a full licence holder looking to refresh your skills, I am here to help. My goal is to support you in achieving the independence and opportunities that come with mastering the skill of driving. No matter your current ability or experience, I am committed to working with you to develop your skills and confidence, ensuring you become the best driver you can be.

Learning to drive is about much more than just acquiring the practical skills needed to pass your driving test. With my client-centred approach, your lessons will be tailored to suit your individual learning style while actively involving you in the decision-making process. Together, we will focus on building your self-awareness and problem-solving skills in real driving situations. By prompting you in discovering solutions on your own, you will gradually take greater responsibility for your progress and learning.
I am committed to providing a value-for-money learning experience that goes beyond the basics. You will develop a deeper understanding of the risks associated with various road situations and learn to manage them effectively. Each lesson will include time for reflection and self-evaluation, helping you identify areas for improvement and recognize your achievements.
As your knowledge and understanding grow, you’ll develop positive attitudes that empower you to become a thoughtful, responsible, and independent driver. With my guidance, you’ll not only gain the confidence to drive but also the skills to be a safe driver for life—because being safe on the road is the ultimate goal.

Are you considering a career change? Are you seeking a business opportunity that allows you to achieve a work-life balance tailored to your needs?
Training to become a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) could be one of the most rewarding decisions you ever make—it certainly was for me. I dedicated myself full-time to my training, enabling me to qualify as an ADI. Since then, I have further enhanced my skills by additionally acquiring the following qualifications;
  • DVSA Approved Driving Instructor Test (Zero Driving Faults in the Test of Driving Ability for Instructors) in 2003
  • DVSA P.C.V Driving Test in 2003
  • Institute of Advanced Motorists in 2004
  • DVSA Hazard Perception Assessment for Driving Instructors in 2005
  • DVSA Hackney Carriage/Private Hire in 2008
  • OCR Understanding the Legal And Business Context For Road Transport Operations (UNIT 1) in 2009
  • OCR Managing National Road Passenger Transport Operations (UNIT 3) in 2009
  • OCR Understanding National Road Passenger Transport Operations (UNIT 5) in 2009
As an ADI, you’ll need a natural ability to communicate effectively and support others in their learning journey. In addition, you’ll need to have held a full driving licence for at least three years and be over the age of 21.
While these initial requirements may seem straightforward, the training process is thorough and demanding. However with my expert support, you’ll be guided every step of the way. From beginning your training to achieving your qualification, I’ll ensure you have the support you need to succeed. Once qualified, you’ll discover that becoming an ADI is not just a career choice—it’s a truly fulfilling and life-changing decision.
